The board of Trustees of Imam al-Hadi college consists of a number of members with scientific competencies, specialized professors and distinguished national figures in various fields, and is chaired by Her Excellency Dr. Bakhita Imam al-Hadi al-Mahdi
The main tasks and responsibilities of the board of trustees:
* Developing the general strategy of the college and drawing up its scientific policy
* Reviewing the works and achievements related to the college, discussing them, evaluating them and proposing their development.
* Proposal of the college budget project.
* Approval of the appointment of vice-presidents of the college and heads of departments .
* Approval of the events of colleges and centers .
* Approval of the executive regulations, financial regulations, by-laws and by-laws.
* Implementing the general policy of the college by drawing and organizing education, research and training programs and drawing up plans to provide adequate means to achieve this.
* Developing plans for the construction of buildings and completing and developing laboratories, equipment and libraries at the college .
* Propose the internal regulations of the University and the internal regulations of academic programs.
* Approving the appointment and transfer of faculty members within the college, setting the rules of contracting with them, determining their compensation, remuneration and all other matters related to their work.
* Proposing to conclude cooperation agreements with Sudanese, Arab and foreign universities and Arab, regional and international organizations after the approval of the Higher Education Department.
The board of trustees exercises the following main powers and responsibilities :
* Electing new board members and accepting the resignation of members, electing the chairman from among its members, electing the rest of the members of the administrative body from among its members and determining their positions.
● Drawing up the general policy of the college and evaluating its implementation.
* Securing, developing, managing and following up the financial resources of the college and organizing and maintaining its investment.
* Discuss and approve the draft annual college plan and budget submitted by the vice dean of the college, the dean's report for the past year, and the final financial accounts for the past year.
* Approving the opening of branches of the college or the establishment, merger or abolition of departments, institutes or scientific centers therein .
* Approving and amending the general law of Imam Hadi college and the various regulations related to its academic, administrative and financial affairs.
● Approval of construction projects in the college and follow-up on their implementation.
● Conclude Cooperation, Association or partnership agreements with institutions whose objectives correspond to the objectives of the council mentioned above.
* Appointment of a legal adviser and an external auditor.
