The martyr Imam Al-Hadi is one of the makers of the history of this beloved country, the owner of the abundant efforts in the Khartoum Conference of 1967, which was known as the Three No's Conference and the peace that took place between King Faisal and Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser, when Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Mahjoub was the Prime Minister of Sudan, Imam Al-Hadi called for keenness to fulfill promises and strive to achieve many slogans with lofty values, and his slogan:
No peace without Islam. Let us die and let religion and the homeland live
The history of the establishment of Imam Al-Hadi College dates back to 1996 under the name "Imam Al-Hadi Foundation for Islamic Studies", as a non-profit institution, in the city of Omdurman, Wad Nubawi neighborhood, where it stopped its first program "Diploma in Islamic Studies" for free in the spirit of the martyr Imam Al-Hadi Al-Mahdi. In 1999, the "Imam Al-Hadi Center for Additional Studies and Computer Sciences" was established in cooperation with Imam Al-Mahdi University. Based on these lofty and sublime principles and values ​​of Imam Al-Hadi and continuing his efforts in various areas of life, education being one of its pillars, a number of those interested in his biography, headed by the honorable lady/ Ruqayyah Abdullah Al-Fadil, took the initiative and in a blessed step, the establishment of Imam Al-Hadi College was approved by virtue of Resolution No. (17) issued on 5/28/2002 by the Committee for Regulating Private and Foreign Higher Education to join the private higher education institutions under the umbrella of the Private and Foreign Higher Education Administration. The college began its journey with 500 students and now the number of its students has reached more than 9,000 male and female students. Imam Al-Hadi College, where ambition turns into reality, with God's help, and dreams into an active and productive life, so that the waterwheels of knowledge and science turn with all energy, vitality and activity, watering the nation with competencies and cadres capable of change to contribute to comprehensive development through the services it provides to all segments of the university community, including students, academics and administrators. From its authenticity and distinction, it launched and provided opportunities for workers in the public and private sectors to continue their educational and training path by keeping pace with the development of all emerging modern technologies in the field of science and knowledge.
